Six-Shooter Saturday Stampede party goes "Green"
The Calgary office of Stikeman Elliott hosted their annual Six-Shooter Saturday Stampede party on July 10, using 'Green' event tactics to divert over 6400 litres of garbage from landfills. The event included a dedicated recycling, compost and waste station where trained staff helped party guests appropriately dispose of their cups, plates and food leftovers; filtered water stations; compostable plates, cutlery and napkins; and biodegradable signage to ensure a minimal environmental impact from this year's event.
