Noordin Nanji joins Stikeman Elliott
On July 15, Stikeman Elliott welcomes Noordin S. K. Nanji to the firm's Vancouver office as Senior Counsel in the Corporate Group. Mr. Nanji advises public and private companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, the formation and financing of business ventures, and general corporate and business law matters.

Mr. Nanji has held various executive positions at Ballard Power Systems Inc. including, most recently, Vice-President, Strategy and Development. During his tenure, Mr. Nanji was responsible for many of Ballard's key business and clean energy initiatives, focusing on strategy, corporate and business development, intellectual property and corporate governance. He was a partner with another Canadian law firm from 1989 to 1998.

Mr. Nanji graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1982 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1983.
