Kids Inn Play Program Wraps Up in Calgary
After many months of hard work, the fundraising component of Stikeman Elliott's Kids Inn Play program in Calgary has officially wrapped up. The Kids Inn Play program engages the children at Inn from the Cold in safe and fun activities by providing funding and supplies for recreation opportunities throughout the year, with emphasis on the summer months. Launched in March of 2010, the program included a detailed plan to raise funds and awareness to ensure three years of financial support for the Inn. From March to July, the Calgary office raised over $34,000 in cash and gift in kind donations. Through these funds and gifts, over 400 children and adults have participated in programs funded by Kids Inn Play.
