Montréal Associates
Support for Personal Development
When you're given a lot of responsibility, you need individual support systems and the ability to get help quickly when needed. On an individual level, we offer several resources such as the support of a mentor and members of the Associates Committee who discuss your workload and your career development with you regularly and help you when you need it. We have continuing legal education programs and we have significant research and precedent resources, all designed to give you the tools you need to find answers and develop your skills. More specifically, 2 lawyers, Jill Hugessen, Director of Associates and Lucie Côté, Assistant Director of Associates, are responsible for recruiting lawyers, ensuring their integration into the firm and implementing various programs and activities with a view to offering a stimulating and rewarding work experience. We emphasize support, but also individual learning and responsibility and find that our lawyers develop rapidly as a result.
