Law Practice
Eric Bremermann is a partner in the Toronto office of Stikeman Elliott, a member of the firm's Corporate and Project Development Finance Groups and co-Chair of the Toronto Energy Group. He also serves on the firm's Diversity Committee. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on Canadian-European cross-border issues, including advising on corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, disposition and financing, corporate governance matters, business succession, as well as the establishment of subsidiaries in the NAFTA marketplace.

Mr. Bremermann has specific expertise in the area of renewable energy and independent power production. He has advised a variety of clients in the sector in connection with their entry into Canada, acquisition, development and financing of power projects, including wind and solar, and associated regulatory requirements. He is recognized in the 2016 edition of Who's Who Legal: Canada 2016 in Energy and in the 2016 edition of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for his expertise in corporate mid-market and corporate commercial law and infrastructure law.

Professional Activities
Mr. Bremermann is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is asked on a regular basis to speak at domestic and international conferences and is frequently asked to assist European delegations in Canada.

Mr. Bremermann serves as a director on the boards of several well-known multi-national corporations. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Mr. Bremermann is fluent in German.
