Law Practice
Margaret Grottenthaler is the partner in charge of legal research and writing in the Toronto office of Stikeman Elliott. Her practice is focused on writing reasoned opinions on a wide variety of issues for clients of the firm. A significant part of her practice deals with the structuring, enforcement, and collateralization of derivatives products; monetizations; securities lending; and repurchase and reverse repurchase transactions. She is co-chair of the firm's National Knowledge Management Committee and chair of the Opinions Committee.

Professional Activities
Ms. Grottenthaler is chair of the ISDA's Canadian Legal and Regulatory Affairs Committee and a former member of the Federal Judicial Advisory Committee. She is a member of TOROG (Toronto Opinions Group), the Toronto Research Lawyers Group and the Canadian Bar Association.

Background
