Law Practice
David Weinberger is a partner in the Toronto office of Stikeman Elliott. Mr. Weinberger's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, as well as private equity transactions.
Mr. Weinberger has significant experience advising both bidders and targets in hostile and negotiated merger and acquisition transactions and has advised underwriters and issuers on numerous financing transactions, including IPOs, bought deals, private placements and rights offerings, in a variety of sectors including, media, telecommunications, technology, real estate, diversified products, retail and financial services. Mr. Weinberger's private equity practice focuses on advising on public company acquisitions and exit transactions.
Mr. Weinberger is recognized in the 2013 Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada as a leading lawyer in the Corporate Mid-Market category and in the 2012 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for Corporate Finance & Securities.

Professional Activities
Mr. Weinberger has guest lectured on numerous occasions on matters of corporate law with Osgoode Hall Law School and has been a course instructor for the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission Course in business law.
