Law Practice
Sherry Roth is a principal in the London office. Sherry leads the debt capital markets and banking practices in London. She advises underwriters including Canadian, U.S., U.K. and other European investment banks, as well as corporate and sovereign issuers, in connection with the international debt markets, including covered bond programmes and Euro Medium Term Note Programmes, and global debt offerings by Canadian governments, government agencies, financial institutions and other corporations.
Sherry has extensive experience advising issuers and underwriters on private placements and public securities issuances in the Canadian markets, including the maple bond market.
Sherry also practises in banking and project finance. She acts for both financial institutions and borrowers in secured banking and for lenders, sponsors and borrowers in international project finance transactions, particularly in the mining sector. These project finance transactions include mining projects in Russia, Mexico, Madagascar and Guinea.
Sherry is recognized by Legal Experts 2010 in the area of Capital Markets.
