Jonathan Willson is a partner practising in Stikeman Elliott's Tax Group in Toronto. Jonathan has a multi-faceted tax practice with an emphasis on structured finance, financial products, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions and investment funds.

Professional Activities
Jonathan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of England & Wales. He is currently a member of the editorial board for Corporate Finance, a periodical published by Federated Press. Jonathan was previously a member of the executive committee for the taxation law section of the Ontario Bar Association and has served as a co-editor of the Ontario Bar Association's taxation law newsletter.

Before joining Stikeman Elliott, Jonathan practised in the United Kingdom with the structured debt group of a Magic Circle law firm. Prior to that, Jonathan practised corporate tax law with another leading Canadian law firm.
