How many articling students do you hire?
For the 2006/2007 articling year, the Calgary office has hired four articling students: Matthew Synnott (University of Victoria), Ben Hudy (University of Toronto), Veronica Tang (University of British Columbia) and Christie Innes (Osgoode Hall, York University).

How many summer students do you hire?
The Calgary office of Stikeman Elliott LLP will be hiring three to five summer students for the summer of 2006.

What is your hire-back record for articling students?
During the last eleven years, all of our articling students have been offered positions as associates with our firm.

What international opportunities are available at Stikeman Elliott LLP?
We generally staff our foreign offices (New York, London, Sydney) with lawyers from our domestic offices, with one or two opportunities on average arising throughout the firm every year.

What sort of continuing legal education programs do you have for students?
We send each of our students to Toronto for a training session. We also encourage our students to attend CBA luncheons and relevant external courses.
