The Finance Department currently has an opening for a Customer Accounts Coordinator. The incumbent will be co-responsible for the collection of customer accounts and the application of payments. This position reports to the Manager, Client Accounting and Business Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up sustainably and regularly with internal and external clients;
  • Play a vital facilitator role between the different stakeholders;
  • Apply payments;
  • Track monthly billing commitments with legal teams;
  • Follow up with the legal team on their files with older and significant work-in-progress;
  • Produce monthly statements of accounts;
  • Create, interpret and present reports and analysis; and
  • Actively participate in meetings of the Montréal office Finance Committee.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College diploma; and
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in collection and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Ability to set priorities;
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (intermediate level with Excel);
  • Good knowledge of recovery software (CMS an asset);
  • Diplomacy; and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
