  • Trinity Western University, et al. v. The Law Society of Upper Canada et al. - co-counsel for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association as intervenor on the case in support of the Law Society’s decision not to discriminate in regulating access to a law licence.
  • Richard James Goodwin, et al. v. British Columbia (Superintendent of Motor Vehicles), et al. - co-counsel for the Insurance Bureau of Canada as intervener on the case dealing with the constitutionality of provincial road side breathalyzer laws.
  • Antrim Truck Centre v. Ontario (Minister of Transportation) – represented Metrolinx on a matter relating to circumstances in which a business is entitled to compensation for “injurious affection” due to changes in traffic access caused by a public work.
  • Curactive Organic Skin Care Ltd. v. Ontario - assisted with the representation of the Toronto Transit Commission on a successful pre-certification motion to have a class action of over C$100M against the TTC dismissed on the ground that the Ontario Municipal Board, and not the court, had exclusive jurisdiction over a claim for business losses arising from the construction of a transit project.
  • Commissioner of Competition v. Canadian Real Estate Association – acting for CREA in a case alleging abuse of dominance in the market for residential real estate brokerage services.
  • ProSys et al v. Infineon Technologies North America et al. – acting for defendant in class proceedings alleging price-fixing conspiracy in DRAM computer chips.
